The Carnival Tour is Here!

We have so many surprises in store for you! Grab your besties and spread the word because tickets will go fast!

We can’t wait to see you! Below is all the information you will need to be ready for race day. Grab your tutus, your friends, and your running shoes and we’ll see you at the start line!

 All registered Color Runners must collect their participation pack (this includes the official 2018 event shirt, headband, powder, temp’ tattoos and race number and more) before the event date.

We’ll have a full shop at the collection point selling all our awesome TCR goodies.

Remember to bring your ID as proof of your registration and the barcoded ticket / purchase receipt printed out or on your phone so we can scan you in.

Picking up for a friend?
Easy, just bring along all the barcoded tickets / confirmation email QR code either printed out on your phone so we can scan them. We’ll also need a copy of the ID of the person who bought the tickets (just in case there is an issue).

Start Window

All Color Runners get ready in the start chute at 9:45am, start gun goes off at 10am to start The Happiest 5km in the Polokwane!

Each batch starts 3 minutes apart and you’ll head off in each batch with approximately 500 new friends. It takes 1-2 hours to run or walk the route and then into the festival zone where you will enjoy music from awesome DJ’s, local acts, best-dressed competitions, food and drink and you guessed it, more color!

Charity Highlight

The Color Run South Africa raised over R500,000 in 2017 for local causes and educational based initiatives in the areas we visit. We’re looking to increase that in 2018!

We’ve been about doing good and having fun ever since we started! As a for-profit event management company, we love the opportunity we have to partner with charities to help shine a light on their amazing work within society and highlight the causes they stand for. Last year we raised over R500,000 with Capitec Bank to help grow education initiatives in the areas we visited.

This year we’re calling on all runners to help raise funds for  some amazing charities who work tirelessly in our communities each and every day. To set up a campaign on BackaBuddy just:

Ticket Prices

Early Bird ticket prices (11 June – 25 June)
• Solo Runner / Walker: R220 per runner
• 4 – 10 Team Entry (pp):  R200 per runner in a team of 4+ people
• Children (under 2): Free
• Children (2years  – 12 years): R50
• Late Entries / Race Day – All tix: R300

Standard ticket prices (26 June – 17 August)
• Solo Runner / Walker: R270 per runner
• 4 – 10 Team Entry (pp):  R245 per runner in a team of 4+ people
• Children (under 2): Free
• Children (2years  – 12 years): R50
• Late Entries / Race Day – All tix: R300

Kids Under 2 Run free as long as they are accompanied by an adult, kids aged 2 – 12 years pay a R50 entry fee for the event and must be booked at the same time as the adult tickets. **

*Excludes the online booking fees **T&Cs apply (free entry and Children aged 2 – 12 years: ticket excludes Fun Pack. All children under 12 must be registered and display an official safety wristband, available from collections, with guardians contact details completed)

Ticket Purchase

Onlne:
Tickets can be bought online with a valid credit card or debit card via the ticketing page of this site from 11 June. VIP purchases are online and will be accessed via link in email sent to registered VIPs email addresses.

EFT Transfer:

Don’t want to purchase online? Not a problem! We’ve got you covered. We’ve just launched InstantEFT in our online booking system for simple, hassle free instant EFT booking. Just follow the instructions and you can purchase via EFT. If you need to do manual EFT or Cash Deposit please contact TixSA who will guide you through the process.

Manual Entries 
Manual Entry points will open at selected Sportsmans Warehouse locations after the Early Bird period has ended.

Parking
Limited secure parking will be provided @ the event. You’ll find all the parking information in your Runners Handbook which will be emailed to you in the lead up to the event.

Please contact us on hello@thecolorrun.co.za if you require disabled parking or have other special needs in this regard.

Other Q’s

Hyperli:
If you have bought a Hyperli ticket then you need register online before the event to get your ticket. Individuals will need to fill out the online registration in order to register for the event. Go to our ticketing page or www.tixsa.co.za

Each ticket from Hyperli needs to be registered individually.

• Select ‘1‘ from the “The Color Run EntryTicket”
• Click “register”
• Select your Delivery Option (there is an additional fee for “Print at Home”) – rather choose the receipt option @ no charge.
• Enter your VOUCHER CODE where it says “enter coupon code here…”
• When you see that the coupon code is accepted, click “Checkout”
• Enter in all of your details and finish the order.
• Please make sure that your email address is correct.

NOTE: Only one code per user per ticket. The system will not allow multiple codes or multiple tickets on one code.

Changes to children entry.

Due to circumstances we have had to change the process for children’s entries. All children under 2 still come for free but entry for children 2 – 12 will have an entry cover charge of R50 per child. Tickets for all child entries must be booked at the same time as adults. T&C’s apply.

Only full individual & team ticket holders get the event Runners Pack and all runners under 12 need to be registered at Race Pack Pick Up and collect / display their official safety wristband completed with their name and their guardians contact details.
